Ski Review: Fantactic all-mountain ski. Will turn and stop on a dime. Handles okay at high speeds, above about 50mph the tips begin to chatter. Carving is effortless. In the park they offer some flexibility to absorb impact, however they are not suited for high level rails or freestyle. Skis will do anything you demand on steep groomed trails, and although not quite wide enough for huge mountain back country they ride comfortable in powder. I purchased 1 year used, flawless bottoms and edges. In the 4 years I have owned them the tips have de-laminated, so I epoxied them: good as new. The rest of the ski had been perfect, the delamination began shortly after the “tip cap” broke off in extreme cold conditions. This part basically clamps the ski at the tip. The ELX12 bindings have been problem free and of high quality.

Overall I highly recommend this ski for an intermediate to expert skiier. They have not let me down on any terrain from half-pipe at Holiday Valley to bigger-mountain power and woods at Gore Mt and Whiteface Mt.
